• Fits 4.7" scroll
• Housewarming gift
• Designed by Yair Emanuel

Intro

Mark a doorpost with a mezuzah case painted in flowing blues and reds, its surface layered with tulips, pomegranates, and vining leaves. The case holds the scroll that gives the mezuzah its purpose, kept safe behind hand painted wood. Pomegranates woven through the design carry their familiar meaning of blessing and abundance. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Sized for a scroll of about 4.7 inches, the case does not include the scroll itself. Cut from wood and hand painted with a floral pattern in blues and reds, the case measures 1 x 0.5 x 6 inches. A hole at the back allows it to be mounted directly to a doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming above all, marking the doorpost of a new home. It also makes a fitting wedding, engagement, or bar or bat mitzvah gift, especially for someone setting up their first Jewish home. The painted floral design gives it a bright, personal feel beyond the occasion itself.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Keep it away from water and harsh cleaners, which can dull the painted finish over time.
