Intro

Bring a touch of Jerusalem into a moment of remembrance with this hand painted wood memorial candle holder. The piece is wrapped in a vivid Jerusalem cityscape, its walls, rooftops and a palm tree rendered in layered color against a deep blue sky. Jerusalem imagery carries a sense of heritage and connection, fitting for a candle lit in memory of a loved one. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Hand painted on wood, the holder measures about 3 inches by 3 inches by 3 inches and comes with a candle included. The cylindrical form holds a single tealight style candle at its center, set within the painted Jerusalem scene. Its compact size suits a shelf, windowsill, or table where a memorial candle is kept.

Gift Ideas

This memorial candle holder makes a thoughtful gift for a house of mourning, a yahrzeit, or Yom HaShoah remembrance. It also suits someone furnishing a Jewish home who wants a meaningful piece on hand for when it's needed. The Jerusalem design gives it lasting significance well beyond a single occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the painted wood with a soft, dry cloth to keep the colors bright. Keep it away from water and direct heat beyond the candle flame itself, and remove any wax drips once fully cooled.
