Intro

Set the tone for your Seder with a matzah plate painted in vivid depictions of the Exodus story. The scene wraps across the wooden surface and sides, telling of the journey from Egypt in rich blues, golds, and pinks. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Placed at the center of the Passover table, the plate holds the matzah throughout the Seder. Hand painted wood forms the base, with the artwork covering both the interior and the raised sides for a finished look from every angle. The plate measures 9.5 by 9.5 by 2.5 inches, sized to hold a full stack of matzah.

Gift Ideas

A vivid Judaica piece like this suits a wedding, housewarming, or engagement gift, especially for someone setting up their first Passover table. It also fits well as a bar or bat mitzvah or anniversary gift for a family that celebrates the holidays together. The detailed artwork gives it lasting appeal well beyond the Seder itself.

Care Instructions

Wipe the plate clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than submerging it in water. Keep it away from direct sunlight and excess moisture to preserve the painted finish.
