Intro

Bring color to your Shabbat table with a Kiddush cup painted in the bright, layered scenes of Modern Jerusalem. Domes, towers, and stone facades in blue, yellow, and green wrap the cup and its matching plate. Jerusalem imagery speaks to heritage and connection, a fitting image for the table where the week begins again. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for Kiddush on Shabbat and Yom Tov, the cup is hand painted wood finished in lacquer for a lasting shine. It stands 5.5 inches tall with a 2.5 inch diameter and holds approximately 2 fluid ounces. A matching wooden plate, 5 inches across, is included to complete the set.

Gift Ideas

The Jerusalem design and matching plate make this a strong choice for a wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, and works well for anyone furnishing a Jewish home. The bright colors keep it a welcome gift beyond those occasions too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup and plate with a soft, dry cloth rather than submerging them in water. Keep the set away from prolonged moisture and abrasive cleaners so the lacquer finish and painted color stay bright.
