Intro

Mark the close of Shabbat with a complete Havdalah set gathered on one hand painted tray. The set includes a spice box, a kiddush cup, and a candle holder, each finished in a vivid Oriental floral pattern of blues, oranges, and gold. The recurring blossoms and vines lend the set a warm, garden like richness across every piece. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish ritual objects for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of hand painted wood, the four piece set brings together a spice box, a kiddush cup, a candle holder, and a matching tray that unites the pieces as one ensemble. Each artisan applies the floral design by hand, so the coloring carries slight, natural variation piece to piece. The full set measures about 10 by 5 by 5 inches, sized to sit comfortably together on its tray at the Havdalah table.

Gift Ideas

A complete Havdalah set makes a strong wedding or engagement gift, especially for a couple furnishing their first Jewish home. It suits a housewarming, a bar or bat mitzvah, or an anniversary just as well. The coordinated pieces and rich coloring also make it a satisfying gift outside those occasions, for anyone who marks Havdalah each week.

Care Instructions

Wipe each piece clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than soaking it, since water can dull the hand painted finish over time. Keep the set away from direct sun and abrasive cleaners so the colors stay vivid.
