Intro

Add a bright collectible to your Hanukkah display with this hand painted wood dreidel and matching stand. Each face is painted with colorful folk art scenes, and the fourth carries the letter shin, for nes gadol haya sham, the version of the dreidel letters used outside Israel. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Crafted from hand painted wood, the dreidel measures 3.5 inches tall and 1.5 by 1.5 inches at its base. It comes with a painted wooden stand that displays the piece upright when not in play. As a collectible rather than a toy, it is meant for display and gift giving.

Gift Ideas

Compact and colorful, this dreidel makes a lovely Hanukkah gift for a child or collector alike. It suits a housewarming, a bar or bat mitzvah, or any occasion where a small piece of Jewish art is welcome. Its size and stand also make it an easy addition to a Hanukkah table setting or mantel display.

Care Instructions

Wipe the dreidel and stand clean with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from moisture and direct sunlight to preserve the painted colors over time.
