Intro

Bring a bright Hanukkah accent to your shelf with this hand painted wooden dreidel, set on its own matching stand. Floral vines and pomegranate blossoms wrap each face in layered color, and the fourth face carries the letter shin, for nes gadol haya sham, the version used outside Israel. As a decorative collectible rather than a toy, it holds its place year round. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has filled Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Carved from wood and hand painted by skilled artisans, the dreidel comes with a painted stand that lets it stand upright on display. It measures about 3.5 inches tall and 1.5 by 1.5 inches at its widest point. The floral pattern covers all four faces, with the shin set apart in gold against a soft pink ground.

Gift Ideas

Small and self-standing, this dreidel suits a Hanukkah gift for nearly any home, from a first Jewish household to a longtime collector. It works well for a housewarming, an engagement, or as an addition to a bar or bat mitzvah gift alongside other Judaica. The compact size also makes it easy to send as a gift on its own.

Care Instructions

Wipe the dreidel and stand clean with a soft, dry cloth. Keep both away from water and abrasive cleaners so the painted color stays bright.
