Intro

Bring color to your Shabbat table with this pair of hand painted candlesticks, each one bearing white flowers over a deep blue ground. The two halves share matching curved edges and push together into a single block, standing apart as a pair yet reading as one piece on the table. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Lit each week for Shabbat and Yom Tov, the candlesticks hold a pair of flames side by side. Carved from wood and hand painted by skilled artisans, each piece measures 4 x 1.5 x 3 inches, and the two fit together along their curved edges into one solid block. They take standard Shabbat candles.

Gift Ideas

The pair makes a fitting wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift, and suits a bar or bat mitzvah or anniversary as well. It's a natural choice for someone setting up a Jewish home for the first time. The bright floral design keeps it a welcome gift at other times too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than soaking them in water. Keep them away from direct heat and abrasive cleaners so the painted finish stays bright.
