Intro

Bring color to your Shabbat table with a pair of hand painted wood candlesticks, their curved edges cut to fit together into one solid block. Oriental flowers in purple, coral, and gold spread across a deep blue ground, framed below by a bold zigzag border. The floral motif brings warmth and life to the table where the week begins again. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Lit each week for Shabbat and Yom Tov, the candlesticks hold a pair of flames when set together as a matched block. Cut from wood and hand painted by skilled artisans, each half carries its own portion of the floral design, meeting seamlessly at the curved edge. The pair measures 4 x 1.5 x 3 inches and takes standard Shabbat candles.

Gift Ideas

The bright, detailed painting makes this pair a natural choice for a wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift. They also suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, or a gift for a couple building a Jewish home. Their vivid color makes them a welcome gift even outside those occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks clean with a soft, dry cloth. Keep them away from water and abrasive cleaners so the hand painted finish stays vivid, and lift away any cooled wax gently.
