Intro

Welcome guests into your home with a wall hanging that says it plainly: Shalom. Cut from metal and hand painted with a burst of colorful flowers, the piece frames the word in bold navy lettering surrounded by blossoms and leaves in reds, blues, purples, and yellows. Shalom, meaning peace, is a greeting and a blessing at once, fitting for any entryway or living space. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose colorful work has decorated Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal and finished by hand in layered enamel paint, the wall hanging measures 11.5" x 7.5". The flowers and leaves are painted in varied patterns and colors around the raised lettering, giving the piece dimension and texture. Light enough to hang with a simple hook or nail, it suits an entryway wall, a kitchen, or any spot that could use a burst of color.

Gift Ideas

The cheerful design and welcoming message make this a natural housewarming gift for a new home. It also suits a wedding or engagement gift, marking the start of a peaceful household, and works well for a bar or bat mitzvah or any occasion celebrating new beginnings. Its bright colors make it a warm choice for any Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the wall hanging gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the surface clean. Keep it away from direct moisture and abrasive cleaners so the painted colors stay vivid over time.
