Intro

Bring the colors of Jerusalem into your home with this hand painted metal wall hanging, its skyline of domes, arches, and stone facades rendered in bright, layered detail. Along the base runs the phrase 'Im Eshkachech Yerushalayim,' If I forget thee, Jerusalem, a line drawn from Psalms that speaks to enduring connection and longing for the holy city. The scene captures Jerusalem imagery as a symbol of heritage and belonging. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal and hand painted with a detailed Jerusalem cityscape, the piece is finished for hanging on any wall. It measures 14.5 inches by 10.5 inches, sized for an entryway, living room, or study. The layered cutout design gives the skyline dimension, with towers, palm trees, and archways rising above the inscribed base panel.

Gift Ideas

This wall hanging makes a striking housewarming gift for anyone furnishing a new home, and it suits a wedding or engagement gift just as well. It works nicely for a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, marking a meaningful milestone with a piece tied to Jerusalem. Its bright colors and detailed scene also make it a welcome gift for any occasion that calls for something lasting.

Care Instructions

Dust the wall hanging gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the vividness of the colors over time.
