Intro

Bring color to your Shabbat table with a tall pair of hand painted candlesticks, each traced with a branch of pomegranates against deep navy. Rendered in gold, white, and soft blue, the pomegranate has long stood for blessing and abundance. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Lit each week for Shabbat and Yom Tov, the candlesticks form a pair meant to stand side by side. Crafted from metal and hand painted by skilled artisans, each piece rises about 8.5 inches tall on a tapered base 2.5 inches wide. The narrow neck holds a standard Shabbat candle securely at its center.

Gift Ideas

Tall and richly painted, this pair of candlesticks makes a fitting wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift. They suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary equally well, or a gift for a couple furnishing a Jewish home. Their color and scale give them presence as a gift for nearly any milestone.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Avoid soaking them in water or using abrasive cleaners, which can dull the finish, and remove any dripped wax once it has fully cooled.
