Intro

Bring color to your Shabbat table with this pair of hand painted candlesticks, banded in layered blues from deep navy to soft aqua. Pomegranates, florals, and gold accents wind across each tier, the pomegranate motif carrying its familiar meaning of blessing and abundance. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of hand painted metal, the candlesticks are sold as a matching pair. Each stands 7 inches tall with a 2.5 inch base, and every candlestick is finished by hand, so slight variations in the painted bands are part of the piece. The pair holds standard Shabbat candles at the center of the table.

Gift Ideas

The layered blue palette and pomegranate detail make this pair a fitting wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift. They suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary equally well, or a gift for a couple furnishing a Jewish home. Their color and craft make them a welcome choice beyond those occasions too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than soaking them. Remove any cooled wax gently and keep the pair away from abrasive cleaners to preserve the painted finish.
