Intro

Add color to a bare wall with a laser cut pomegranate hanging, its open branches filled with hand painted birds in bright, varied patterns. Long a symbol of blessing and abundance, the pomegranate frames a small world of nature and color. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal and finished by hand in vivid enamel paint, the hanging holds its pomegranate outline through an open lattice of branches and leaves. It measures about 8.5 by 6 inches and comes fitted with a hanging loop at the top, ready to display on a wall or in a window. The open cut design lets light pass through the piece, giving it depth beyond a flat print.

Gift Ideas

The pomegranate hanging suits a housewarming, wedding, or engagement gift, and works equally well for a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary. Its bright, detailed birds make it a welcoming piece for anyone furnishing a new home. It also stands on its own as a colorful gift for any occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the hanging clean with a soft, dry cloth to keep the enamel bright. Keep it away from moisture and abrasive cleaners, and avoid direct handling of the painted surface where possible.
