Intro

Bring a playful touch to a child's doorway with this hand painted mezuzah case, its laser cut metal body wrapped in a colorful train design. Bright engines wind their way up the case beneath the letter Shin, rendered in Yair Emanuel's signature style. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has brought color and craft to Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Hand painted onto laser cut metal, the case is sized to hold a 6 inch scroll, which is not included. The case measures about 1 by 6 inches, with an open channel along the back for mounting on a doorpost. The bright, layered artwork is finished to withstand handling at a child's height.

Gift Ideas

With its train motif and cheerful colors, this mezuzah case makes a natural gift for a new baby, a housewarming for a young family, or moving a child into their first bedroom. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah for someone who has kept a lifelong love of trains. Its small size and playful design make it easy to give alongside a scroll as a complete gift.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the colors over time.
