Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case painted in a flock of colorful birds set among laser cut vines and flourishes. The case holds the scroll that carries the Shema, and its open metalwork lets the layered color shine through from every angle. Birds and blossoms in vivid enamel bring warmth and movement to a piece meant to greet everyone who passes through. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from metal and finished by hand in bright enamel color, the case is built around a laser cut pattern of birds, branches, and swirling vines. It measures 1" by 6" and holds a scroll of matching length, sold separately. Decorative finials at each end complete the piece and keep it secure once mounted.

Gift Ideas

A colorful mezuzah case like this one makes a natural gift for a housewarming, a new home, or a wedding. It suits a bar or bat mitzvah, an engagement, or an anniversary just as well, marking a new chapter with something lasting. Its bright, detailed design also makes it a welcome gift for anyone building a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the painted surface clean. Keep it away from abrasive cleaners and excess moisture so the color and metalwork stay sharp.
