Intro

Set a beautiful centerpiece on your Rosh Hashanah table with this honey dish and spoon, crowned by a branching Tree of Life handle where gilded birds perch among the leaves. The hammered dish opens to reveal a vivid red lined interior, its lid topped with the same sculpted branch that forms the matching spoon's handle. The Tree of Life motif carries a meaning of growth and renewal, fitting for the start of a new year. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish tables for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for honey at the Rosh Hashanah meal, the dish is crafted from hammered metal and finished by hand in bronze and gold tones on the branch and birds. The lidded dish measures 4 inches by 4 inches by 6 inches, with a red lined interior that holds the honey and a matching spoon that rests alongside it. The hammered texture and sculpted branch are finished entirely by hand, giving each piece its own character.

Gift Ideas

This honey dish and spoon set makes a meaningful Rosh Hashanah gift, and its craftsmanship suits housewarming, wedding, or engagement occasions equally well. It is also a fitting gift for a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, especially for someone who values Judaica with a sculptural touch. The rich finish and gift-ready presentation make it a piece worth giving well beyond the new year.

Care Instructions

Wipe the dish and spoon clean with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the hammered finish and painted branch. Avoid soaking the piece or using abrasive cleaners, and dry it promptly if it comes into contact with water.
