Intro

Bring a piece of Jerusalem to your daily washing ritual with this hand painted netilat yadayim cup. Domes, archways, and stone facades wind around the vessel in bright layered enamel, rendered in the oriental style. The Jerusalem imagery speaks to heritage and connection, a scene of the city carried into the home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Formed from aluminum and finished with a hand painted enamel design, the cup carries a polished silver interior beneath its colorful exterior. Two handles sit on either side, sized for the two handed pour. The cup measures 4.5 by 5 inches, sized comfortably for the hand and for everyday use.

Gift Ideas

Colorful and detailed, this cup makes a fitting housewarming or wedding gift, and suits a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement just as well. It's a thoughtful choice for anyone setting up a Jewish home or building their collection of ritual objects. The Jerusalem design gives it lasting appeal as a gift for any occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup clean with a soft, damp cloth rather than soaking it or placing it in the dishwasher. Keep it away from abrasive scrubbers so the painted enamel stays bright and unscratched.
