Intro

Mark a doorway with a mezuzah case that catches the light along its hammered surface. The silver toned body is banded at center with a gold toned cutout panel, its open metalwork framing a stylized shin. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of hammered metal in a slim rectangular form, the case measures 6 inches long and 0.5 inches wide, sized for a standard klaf. The textured hammer work catches light across the length of the case, while the gold toned band adds contrast at its center. The scroll is not included and should be sourced separately from a certified sofer.

Gift Ideas

Fitting for a housewarming, a new apartment, or a couple setting up a Jewish home, this mezuzah case also makes a thoughtful wedding or bar or bat mitzvah gift. Its compact size suits any doorway, from a first apartment to a family home. It works equally well as a gift marking any new beginning.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep its hammered finish bright. Avoid water and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the metal and the gold toned band over time.
