Intro

Bring a handsome ritual piece to your table with this Mayim Achronim set, a hanging cup and bowl joined by a sculpted branch. Pomegranates and leaves in brass accent the dark branch above a hammered stainless steel cup and bowl. The pomegranate carries its familiar meaning of blessing and abundance, fitting for the washing that follows the meal. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for Mayim Achronim after the meal, the cup hangs from the branch directly over its matching bowl. Made of hammered stainless steel or aluminum, the set is finished with brass pomegranate and leaf accents along the branch. The cup measures 2.5 by 2.5 inches and the bowl 5 by 2 inches, sized to sit at the table's edge within easy reach.

Gift Ideas

A striking piece for a wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift, especially for a couple setting a Jewish home's table. It suits a bar or bat mitzvah gift as well, or an anniversary present for someone who values ritual objects with lasting craft. Its compact size also makes it a thoughtful gift beyond these occasions.

Care Instructions

Hand wash the cup and bowl with mild soap and dry thoroughly to keep the hammered finish bright. Wipe the brass accents gently and avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the metal's finish over time.
