Intro

Bring a polished touch to your Shabbat and holiday table with a hammered silver Kiddush cup set on its own matching plate. The textured surface catches the light across both pieces, while a row of rounded beads traces the plate's edge for a finished, formal look. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for Kiddush on Shabbat and holidays, the cup holds about 8 ounces and rests securely at the center of its plate. Both pieces are crafted from metal and hand hammered by skilled artisans, giving the surface its rippled texture. The cup measures 4.5 by 3 inches and the plate spans 6 inches across, with a beaded ring lifting the cup slightly above the base.

Gift Ideas

A set like this suits a wedding, an engagement, or a housewarming for someone setting up their first Jewish home. It also makes a fitting bar or bat mitzvah or anniversary gift, marking the occasion with something used at the table for years. The classic silver finish keeps it a welcome gift beyond those milestones too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup and plate clean with a soft, dry cloth to keep the hammered finish bright. Hand wash if needed and dry promptly, avoiding abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that can dull the metal.
