Intro

Bring understated elegance to your Shabbat table with this pair of tapered candlesticks, cast in aluminum and finished in antique silver. Each piece narrows into a sculptural hourglass form, its surface hammered to catch light unevenly across the metal. The antique styling lends a timeless, heirloom quality to the everyday ritual of lighting. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast from aluminum and finished by hand in antique silver, the candlesticks are hammered for a textured, light-catching surface. The pair stands 6 inches tall, tapering from a wide base to a slender neck before flaring at the candle cup. Each holder fits a standard Shabbat candle, and the weighted base keeps the pair steady on the table.

Gift Ideas

Sold as a pair, these candlesticks make a fitting wedding or engagement gift for a couple starting their own Shabbat table. Their antique styling suits a housewarming gift as well, or a bar or bat mitzvah where the recipient is building their own Jewish home. An anniversary is another natural occasion, and the timeless finish holds its appeal well beyond any single event.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks with a soft, dry cloth to keep the antique silver finish clean. Remove any cooled wax gently rather than scraping it off, and avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the hammered texture.
