Intro

Bring a touch of color to your washing station with this hammered netilat yadayim cup in a rich purple finish. The textured, hammered surface catches the light across the cup's rounded body, paired with two sturdy silver handles for easy pouring. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for the ritual hand washing performed before meals and upon waking, the cup is built with two handles so it can be passed cleanly from one hand to the other. Crafted from aluminum with a hammered texture, it measures about 3.5 by 4.5 inches. The compact size makes it easy to keep by a kitchen or bathroom sink.

Gift Ideas

The bold purple finish makes this cup a lively housewarming or wedding gift, especially for someone setting up a Jewish home. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah, an engagement, or an anniversary. Its practical size and everyday use make it a gift that gets used often, not tucked away.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup clean with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the hammered finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull the color and texture over time.
