Intro

Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish tables for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from acacia wood, the board carries no handles, relying instead on the natural weight and grain of the wood. The wheat motif and Hebrew text are engraved directly into the surface, not painted or printed, so the bare wood shows through every line. The half circle shape measures with a flat edge on one side and a rounded arc on the other, wide enough to hold a full loaf. Curved grooves radiate from the center, guiding crumbs away from the bread as it's sliced.
