Intro
Wrap yourself in gold with an embroidered tallit that brings warmth and presence to morning prayer. Bands of Star of David and circle motifs run across the cream fabric, edged in gold stripes, with matching embroidered panels along the neck band and corners. Stars have long stood for Jewish identity and heritage, and here they repeat in a rich gold palette. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Woven from a blend of cotton, polyester and silk, the tallit has a soft drape and a gentle sheen. The embroidery is machine worked in gold and copper tones along the bands and neck band. It measures 75 inches long by 20.5 inches wide, and white fringes finish the edges. A matching embroidered bag and kippah complete the set.
Gift Ideas
A tallit in rich gold embroidery makes a lasting gift for a bar mitzvah, where it becomes a piece the young man keeps for years. It suits a wedding or engagement just as well, or an anniversary for someone who prays in a tallit each day. The matching bag and kippah make the set ready to give as it arrives.
Care Instructions
Store the tallit folded in its bag, away from damp and direct sunlight. Spot clean gently with a soft, damp cloth and let it air dry flat. Avoid wringing or harsh detergents so the embroidery and silk stay bright.
