Intro

Bring a decorative touch to your home with a silk wall hanging that reads "The Holy Bible" across its top and holds the book itself in a pocket below. Pomegranate vines, embroidered in gold, red, and green threads, curl across the pocket panel in a dense, flowing pattern. The pomegranate is a lasting symbol of blessing and abundance, fitting for a piece meant to hold sacred text. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made from silk and embroidered with a pomegranate vine design, the wall hanging pairs a lettered top panel with a pocket sized to hold a Bible. Two wooden dowels top and bottom keep the piece hanging flat, with beaded cords finishing the lower corners. It measures 13.75 by 15.75 inches, sized for a hallway, study, or bedside wall.

Gift Ideas

The wall hanging suits a housewarming gift for a new home, a bar or bat mitzvah, or a gift for someone building a Jewish home. It also works well for a wedding or an anniversary, marking a home with a meaningful, decorative piece. Its size and finished look make it easy to place in almost any room.

Care Instructions

Keep the wall hanging away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the silk and embroidery colors. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth rather than washing, and avoid handling the beaded cords roughly.
