Intro
Give a tallit its own home with a bag embroidered in warm gold tones. Bands of Stars of David frame layered arcs of copper, cream, and bronze silk thread, with the word Talit stitched in gold at the center. The Star of David carries a long association with Jewish identity and heritage. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Made to hold a folded tallit between uses, the bag measures 14 by 12 inches. The silk exterior is machine embroidered in a repeating band of stars, diamonds, and circular arcs, bordered top and bottom in the same gold palette. A soft lining protects the fabric inside, and the bag closes to keep the tallit clean and creased evenly for storage.
Gift Ideas
The tallit bag suits a bar mitzvah, where a young man often receives his first tallit alongside a bag to keep it in. It also makes a fitting wedding or engagement gift, marking a tallit given or received at that stage of life. Anyone furnishing a Jewish home, or marking an anniversary with a new set of ritual items, will find it a lasting choice.
Care Instructions
Spot clean the silk with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid soaking or machine washing. Keep the bag away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the embroidery's color.
