Intro

Bring a blessing into your entryway with this embroidered linen wall hanging, the Priestly Blessing stitched in flowing blue Hebrew letters at its center. A vivid floral border in reds, purples, and golds frames the text, with small hamsa motifs marking each corner. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose embroidered work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Embroidered across natural linen, the hanging measures about 14 by 12 inches and comes fitted with a wooden hanging rod at the top. Beaded strings drop from the lower corners, finishing the piece for display on any wall. The light fabric and compact size make it easy to hang in an entryway, living room, or study.

Gift Ideas

The wall hanging suits a housewarming, a wedding, or a gift for a couple setting up a Jewish home, as the Priestly Blessing is a natural blessing to offer a new household. It also fits a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement, marking a new chapter with words of blessing. Its size and light weight make it easy to bring along or ship as a gift.

Care Instructions

Spot clean the linen gently with a damp cloth and avoid soaking the embroidery. Keep the piece out of direct sunlight to preserve the color of the threads and dust it occasionally with a soft brush.
