Intro

Bring a blessing into any room with this linen wall hanging embroidered with the Priestly Blessing, Birkat Kohanim. Deep purple and jewel-toned floral borders frame the Hebrew text, with fanned corner motifs in matching colors. The Priestly Blessing is a traditional wish for protection, grace, and peace, making it a fitting piece for an entryway or living space. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of linen with embroidered lettering and floral borders, the wall hanging measures 14 by 12 inches. A wooden rod with decorative finials runs along the top for hanging, and beaded fringe hangs from the bottom corners. The piece is lightweight, weighing about a quarter pound, and arrives ready to display.

Gift Ideas

The wall hanging suits a housewarming, wedding, or engagement gift, especially for someone furnishing a new home. It also fits well as a bar or bat mitzvah gift or an anniversary present tied to blessing and family. Its compact size makes it easy to place in an entryway, bedroom, or office.

Care Instructions

Dust the linen gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid direct sunlight to keep the colors from fading. Spot clean only if needed, and keep the piece away from moisture.
