Intro

Bring a lasting blessing into your home with this embroidered linen wall hanging. The Hebrew home blessing sits at the center, framed by rich purple borders and rows of embroidered flowers in vivid color. The words express a wish for peace over the household, a sentiment that has long marked the Jewish home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made of natural linen, the wall hanging carries the home blessing text embroidered in deep blue script across the center panel. Detailed floral embroidery in purple, green, and red runs along the top and bottom borders, with matching beaded tassels hanging from the base. The piece measures 14 by 12 inches and hangs from a wooden dowel on a cord, ready to display on any wall.

Gift Ideas

The home blessing wall hanging suits a housewarming gift for anyone moving into a new home. It also makes a fitting choice for a wedding or engagement, marking the start of a new household. Its warmth carries well as a gift for a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary too.

Care Instructions

Dust the linen gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the embroidery clean. Avoid soaking or machine washing, and keep it away from direct sunlight to preserve the colors.
