Intro
Bring heritage to your wall with a hanging that gathers all Twelve Tribes of Israel into one embroidered panel. Each tribe appears in its traditional symbol, from the lion of Judah to the tents of Gad, worked in bright thread across deep blue fabric with its Hebrew name stitched below. Together the tribes recall the twelve sons of Jacob and the shared roots of the Jewish people. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Embroidered across sturdy blue fabric, the panel is bordered in red and finished with wooden dowels at top and bottom for hanging. It measures 19 by 15 inches, sized for a wall, hallway, or study. Twelve individual squares divide the design, each holding one tribe's symbol and name in embroidered detail.
Gift Ideas
The wall hanging suits a housewarming for a new Jewish home, a bar or bat mitzvah, or a wedding gift for a couple starting out together. It also works well as an anniversary gift or a piece for someone furnishing a study or sukkah. Its scale and color make it a striking addition to any room that calls for Jewish art.
Care Instructions
Dust the panel gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth to keep the embroidery clean. Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture to preserve the fabric's color over time.
