Intro

Bring color to your Shabbat table with this pair of cylinder candlesticks, each one built from stacked anodized aluminum rings in a multicolor run of blues, maroon, gold, green, and violet. The banded construction is the piece's signature, rings stacked edge to edge between a plain rim and foot. Lit for the two Shabbat lights, the pair sets a bright point at the center of the table. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel.

Build and Use

Formed from anodized aluminum, each candlestick stands 4 inches tall and 1 inch across, built as a straight cylinder of stacked color rings. The pair is sold together and holds the two Shabbat lights, each socket sized narrow to take standard taper candles only, not tea lights. The rings run the full height of the piece, capped top and bottom by a plain metal rim and foot.
