Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut in the skyline of Jerusalem, its towers and arches rendered in blue laser cut metal over a silver toned body. The Jerusalem motif carries centuries of heritage and connection, a fitting image for the threshold of a Jewish home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades. The mezuzah holds a scroll inscribed with the Shema, affixed to the doorpost as a sign of faith.

Build and Use

Made from anodized aluminum with a laser cut metal overlay, the case measures 5.5 inches and takes a 4.7 inch scroll, sold separately. The cutout pattern lets the blue base layer show through the silver toned overlay, giving the Jerusalem design depth and shadow. A small back opening allows the scroll to be inserted and checked as needed.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming gift for anyone moving into a new home or dedicating a new room. It also fits a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah, marking a new chapter with a lasting piece for the doorway. The Jerusalem design gives it broad appeal for anyone with a connection to the city.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal finish clean. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excess moisture, which can dull the anodized surface and the cutout detail.
