Intro

Set a festive table with a full set of six liquor cups, each wrapped in a wide band of gold cutout metalwork over natural aluminium. The pierced pattern lets light pass through the intricate design, giving each small cup a jeweled look against its silver body. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes and tables for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast in natural aluminium and banded in a laser cut gold metal overlay, the six cups sit together on a matching rectangular tray finished with the same cutout pattern at each end. Each cup measures about 2.5 by 1.5 inches and holds approximately 1 ounce, while the tray runs about 8.5 by 4 inches to keep the full set steady in one place. The set suits Kiddush, Havdalah, or any occasion calling for a round of small pours.

Gift Ideas

A full set like this makes a strong wedding or housewarming gift, especially for a couple setting up a Jewish home. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah, an engagement, or an anniversary, since the set brings enough cups for a family gathering. The gold cutout finish gives it a festive look that reads well for holiday giving too.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cups and tray clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than soaking them. Keep the set away from abrasive cleaners and harsh scrubbing so the gold cutout finish stays bright.
