Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case cut in an intricate pomegranate and floral pattern. The polished aluminum is laser cut in an openwork design that lets light pass through the scrollwork. The pomegranate has long stood for blessing and abundance, a fitting image for the entrance to a home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cut from polished aluminum, the case holds a 4.7 inch scroll, sold separately. The laser cut technique carries the pomegranate and floral pattern fully through the metal, giving the surface an open, lace like texture. The case measures 1" x 0.5" x 6" and mounts easily to any doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming, a wedding, or a gift for a couple setting up a new home. It also makes a thoughtful choice for a bar or bat mitzvah or an engagement. The pomegranate motif adds a note of blessing that fits any of these occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the aluminum bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the polished finish and catch in the cutout pattern.
