Intro

Bring a timeless look to your Shabbat table with this pair of candlesticks, cast in a graceful tapered form and finished in antique brass. The flared base and fluted neck give them an heirloom quality, drawing on classical candlestick styling rather than a modern line. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Cast from aluminum and finished in an antique brass tone, the candlesticks are hand cast and hand finished by skilled artisans. Each one stands about 8.3 inches tall, with a widened base for stability and a narrow neck rising to the candle cup. Sold as a pair, they take standard Shabbat candles and are lit weekly for Shabbat and Yom Tov.

Gift Ideas

Their antique styling makes this pair a fitting wedding, engagement, or housewarming gift, especially for a couple furnishing their first Shabbat table. They also suit a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, marking a milestone with something used every week. The classic finish gives them broad appeal well beyond any single occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the candlesticks with a soft, dry cloth to keep the antique brass finish looking its best. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking in water, and remove cooled wax gently by hand.
