Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case rich in color and detail, its metal frame set with dense, hand beaded embroidery in reds, blues and gold. The pattern flows in winding, symmetrical lines across the front, a vivid piece of folk art for the home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades. A mezuzah holds the parchment scroll inscribed with the Shema, affixed to the doorpost of a Jewish home.

Build and Use

Set in a metal case, the mezuzah is framed by beaded studs along its top and bottom edges. The center panel carries dense, colorful beadwork in a winding design, embroidered onto the surface. The case measures 7 by 1.5 by 1 inches and is sized for a 4.7 inch scroll, which is not included.

Gift Ideas

A vivid mezuzah case like this suits a housewarming, marking the doorway of a new home. It also makes a fitting wedding or engagement gift, or a keepsake for a bar or bat mitzvah. The bright, detailed beadwork gives it presence as a gift for any milestone in a Jewish home.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the beadwork clean. Keep it away from water and abrasive cleaners, which can loosen the beads or dull the metal finish.
