Intro

Set the tone for the ceremony with a huppah pieced together from raw silk in warm gold tones. Panels of pomegranate and wheat motifs surround a central Hebrew blessing, arranged in a patchwork of angled silk shapes. The pomegranates speak to blessing and abundance, while the wheat calls to the harvest and the land. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish ceremonial pieces for over two decades.

Build and Use

Held above the couple during the wedding ceremony, the huppah is pieced from raw silk panels appliquéd in a patchwork of gold, cream, and bronze tones. The central Hebrew blessing and surrounding pomegranate and wheat motifs are embroidered onto the silk, framed by a wide matching border. The finished canopy measures 78.5 by 78.5 inches, sized to be mounted on a huppah frame or held aloft on poles.

Gift Ideas

A huppah makes a meaningful gift for an engagement or an upcoming wedding, especially for a couple building their ceremony around Jewish tradition. It suits close family or friends looking to give something the couple will use under the chuppah itself and keep long after. It also fits as a gift marking a first anniversary, gifted in anticipation of a vow renewal or a family simcha.

Care Instructions

Keep the huppah folded flat or rolled in its packaging when not in use, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Spot clean the raw silk gently with a dry or barely damp cloth, and avoid machine washing or harsh detergents to protect the appliqué and embroidery.
