Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case built to catch the eye, banded in alternating stripes of gray and blue anodized aluminum. The cylinder form is finished with tapered silver caps and a cutout letter Shin at the center front. A mezuzah holds the scroll inscribed with the Shema, affixed to the doorposts of a Jewish home. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Formed from anodized aluminum in a cylinder shape, the case is banded in wide gray and blue stripes with a cutout Shin marking the front. It measures 0.5 by 6.5 inches and holds a 10 cm scroll, which is sold separately. The case opens along its length for easy placement of the scroll and mounts to a doorpost.

Gift Ideas

A mezuzah case suits a housewarming for a new home, a wedding, or a gift for someone furnishing their first apartment. It also fits a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, marking a milestone with a lasting piece for the home. The modern striped finish gives it broad appeal beyond any single occasion.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the anodized finish bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull the surface color.
