Intro

Mark your doorway with a mezuzah case that carries a raised pomegranate band across deep green anodized aluminum. The mezuzah holds the scroll inscribed with the Shema, affixed to the doorposts of a Jewish home. The pomegranate motif has long stood for blessing and abundance, fitting for a threshold. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has shaped Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Formed from anodized aluminum, the case holds a color that won't fade or chip with handling. It measures 6 inches by 0.5 by 0.5 inches, sized to fit a standard klaf, which is sold separately. The silver band across the front bears the pomegranate cutout design and the letter Shin, and the case opens easily for mounting on the doorpost.

Gift Ideas

Compact and finished in a rich color, this case suits a housewarming for a new home, a wedding, or a gift for a couple setting up a Jewish household. It also fits a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, marking a new stage with a lasting piece. The pomegranate motif gives it a warm, meaningful edge for any of these occasions.

Care Instructions

Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the anodized finish bright. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull the surface, and keep it away from prolonged moisture.
