Intro
Mark your doorway with a case that brings color into a daily ritual. This cylinder mezuzah case is banded in wide, vivid stripes of anodized aluminum, with the Hebrew letter Shin set against a golden band at its center. The mixed colors give the case a playful, contemporary feel while keeping its traditional form. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has graced Jewish homes for over two decades.
Build and Use
Crafted from anodized aluminum in a rounded cylinder shape, the case is built to hold a scroll measuring 4 inches, sold separately. It measures about 6.5 inches long and 0.5 inches in diameter, sized for a standard doorpost. The multicolor finish is sealed into the aluminum, keeping its bands bright and fade resistant.
Gift Ideas
A colorful mezuzah case makes a natural gift for a housewarming, a new apartment, or a couple moving into their first home together. It also suits a wedding, an engagement, or a bar or bat mitzvah, marking a new stage with something for the door. The lively palette makes it a welcome gift any time someone wants a meaningful piece for their home.
Care Instructions
Wipe the case with a soft, dry cloth to keep the anodized finish clean. Keep it away from abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull the color bands over time.
