Intro

Add a rich touch of color to your morning routine with this maroon washing cup, its two handles set opposite each other for an easy, balanced pour. Formed from aluminum and finished in a deep, lustrous maroon, the cup carries a rounded body that tapers gently at the neck. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose Judaica has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Used for netilat yadayim, the cup is lifted with one handle and poured with the other, alternating hand to hand. Formed from anodized aluminum, it holds its maroon finish with a smooth, even shine across the rounded body. The cup measures about 5 inches tall and 4 inches across, sized comfortably for a bathroom or kitchen sink.

Gift Ideas

A vivid, practical piece, the cup makes a natural wedding or housewarming gift for a couple setting up a Jewish home. It also suits a bar or bat mitzvah, an engagement, or an anniversary, where a lasting ritual object is welcome. Its color and finish give it appeal even as a simple gesture of warmth.

Care Instructions

Wipe the cup clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry it fully to preserve the shine. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh detergents, which can dull the aluminum finish over time.
