I've actually been a fan of Yair's artistry for other Judaica; however this is a misfire. Admittedly, it beautiful, sturdy and an innovative portability concept (the physical merging of the three minim is chiefly what attracted my attention, as I needed to be able to easily carry the tray from room to room). However, the candle holder was clearly not tested before rollout, as the opening is, as others have mentioned, CRITICALLY too narrow for the preponderance of havdalah candles...I already broke the bottom of my candle attempting to wriggle it in, and any havdalah set should work to fit the havdalah candle - not the other way around. I surmise some of the more forgiving reviewers are trimming the girth of their candle or jury-rigging it into the Wall Street-esque narrow slit in the candelabra, unnecessarily IMHO.
We love this. It’s a great addition to our collection. Shipping took forever but that is customs fault not the seller. We would definitely order again from them. The quality and workmanship is stunning.
This is a great Havdalah set with one flaw: the candle holder is not cut for use with a standard Havdalah candle. Frustrating, but not the end of the world.
