The design scrolls symmetrically around the embroidered Hebrew words Shabbat V'Yom Tov at its center, with pomegranates trailing through the border, a motif long tied to blessing and abundance. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has been part of Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made from a durable cotton and polyester blend, the cover carries fine silk embroidery worked in gold thread. It measures 19.5 by 15.5 inches, sized to rest over a standard challah loaf or two. The cream ground keeps the embroidered pomegranates and Hebrew text as the clear focal point.

Gift Ideas

The cover suits a wedding, housewarming, or engagement gift, especially for a couple setting up their first Shabbat table. It also fits well for a bar or bat mitzvah or an anniversary, or any gift for someone building a Jewish home. The gold embroidery gives it a polished look that works for holiday tables too.

Care Instructions

Hand wash the cover gently in cool water or dry clean to protect the silk embroidery. Lay it flat to dry and store it away from direct sunlight to keep the gold thread from fading.
