The pomegranate has long stood for blessing and abundance, a fitting motif for the bread at the center of the meal. Designed by Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel, whose work has furnished Jewish homes for over two decades.

Build and Use

Made from a cotton and polyester blend, the cover is embroidered in silk thread rather than by hand. It measures 19.5 inches by 15.5 inches, sized to drape over a challah for the Shabbat table. It matches the coordinating plata cover for a unified look through the meal.

Gift Ideas

The cover makes a fitting gift for a wedding, housewarming, or bar or bat mitzvah, and suits anyone furnishing a Jewish home.
